Skyline Lacrosse Club Code of Conduct
At Skyline Lacrosse Club, we believe that how we play is just as important as the final score. Membership in our community comes with a responsibility to Honor the Game through honesty, integrity, and mutual respect. Our goal is to maintain a positive environment that fosters growth for every athlete.
The Skyline Standard
Sportsmanship First: The concepts of fair play and player development always take precedence over winning.
Safety & Welfare The physical and emotional well-being of our players is our primary concern.
Positive Leadership Coaches are powerful role models. We expect them to lead with encouragement and demonstrate respect for players, parents, and officials at all times.
Player Accountability Athletes are encouraged to support their teammates and show unwavering respect to their opponents and the officials.
Respecting the Officials Officials are professionals dedicated to the game. Coaches, players, and spectators must maintain total impartiality and courtesy toward them. Grievances must never be aired on the field; instead, they should follow our established communication chain.
Spectator Etiquette Fans are the heartbeat of our sidelines. However, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for badgering, harassing, or threatening any participant. Spectators must remain off the field of play at all times. Failure to comply with a request to leave the field may result in a two-game suspension.
Zero Tolerance Policy Skyline Lacrosse Club does not tolerate harassment or any form of physical or verbal abuse. All reported incidents will be investigated by the Board of Directors. Violations may result in suspension or permanent expulsion from the club.
