Change Team:
A message from Coach Jen
by posted 01/25/2020

Hi team,

Thank you to everyone for a grest first practice!

At the end of practice we announced a team challenge: 100 passes and catch attempts, outside of practices or game.

Once each player has informed me they have completed the challenge, the team will earn s prize (likely a delicious treat).

Goal is to complete the challenge before our first game (not yet announced), or roughly April.

Passing can be done with a teammate, sibling, parent, bounce back net, or ball wall.
Don't have a second stick or know lacrosse, no worries,  treat it like playing catch!
Lacrosse ball is ideal, but any ball is better than none. If practicing on concrete you may want to consider a lacrosse "dead ball" -- it feels the same but won't bounce as much.

Happy to answer any and all questions before or after practice.
See you next week!

Sincerely,
Coach Jen

Hi Team,

We had a great first practice!

Here's a list of some items that you may want to pack for the next practice and going forward:

  • Healthy snack and water
  • Rain jacket - we continue playing in light rain
  • Trash Bag - to keep everything dry in case of rain

Kind regards,

Lisa
